ABBA’s sales 2006 amounted to Euros 26,6 millions and the number of employees is approximately 400. ABBA is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan and has facilities in Taiwan and in China. It has sales offices in Taiwan, China and US and works through a network of distributors.
SKF is very pleased that SKF and ABBA have now finalised this acquisition and firmly believe that this is very good news for both our customers and for us. Our focus now will be on combining the strengths of ABBA and SKF.

With the addition of the ABBA's product range, SKF is reinforcing its position and will be a leading company in linear guidings. The acquisition is in line with the SKF Group's strategy to strengthen its different technology platforms and to grow in Asia.

ABBA will be part of the SKF Actuation & Motion Control business unit within the Industrial Division and will be included in the Group's reporting during the third quarter.
