1. SELF-LUBRICATING SYSTEM |
In the front and rear of ABBA’s self-lubricant
block, there are built-in wipers, which contain grease and form
a thin oil membrane on the rail when the block is running on
it. The long-term self-acting lubrication does not need manual
grease pumping or external piping that the costs of frequent
maintenance and additional lubrication installation can be curtailed.
According to the experiment result, self-lubricant blocks have
longer service life and consume less grease in an economic way
than ordinary blocks. The liquid kind of grease used in the
block is environmentally friendly and easier for maintenance
and cleansing than solid type alternatives, avoiding oil waste
handling charge and leaking-related contamination concern. |

2. FOUR-ROW EQUAL LOAD CARRYING
WITH HIGH REGIDITY |
Parallel to THK’s HSR series, the four-row design
enables steel balls to have four 90-degree angular contacts
between the block groove and the rail, so that forces coming
from any direction will counteract equally, leading to equivalent
loading.
This arrangement can be applied on any kind of machines that
compared with Gothic counterpart, the X type four-row design
possesses self alignment, high rigidity, high accuracy and longer
lifetime. Even if significant deviation exists either on the
machine itself or due to the installation, it can be rectified
spontaneously coming with swift and precise linear motion. |

3. THREE-FACET GRINDING |
| ABBA adopts the most advanced 3-facet simultaneous
grinding. This method enables the best quality with high accuracy
on each rail to be SP class, with deviation under 2μ. Hence,
ABBA can supply interchangeable and precise linear guides easily.

4. TWO DATUMS ON EITHER SIDE OF
THE RAIL |
| Compared with the rails which have only one datum
through 2-facet grinding, ABBA’s rails have two datums making
installation easier. |

5. UNIFIED RAIL |
| Different from THK, whose HSR and SR series have
rails in two different profiles, ABBA unifies its rails, in
which way the inventory cost is lower and the competitiveness
is higher. |

6. BLOCK APPLICABLE TO EITHER UP-SIDE
OR DOWN-SIDE LOCKING |
| Traditional blocks work with up-side or down-side
locking respectively, but ABBA combines the two functions that
stock costs can be reduced. |

7. NO STEEL BALL DROPPING |
| The subtle design of ball retainer prevents ball
dropping when pulling the block off from a rail. It requires
no substitute shaft and makes the assembly and repair simple. |
